Yes Rach, I get them too. I seem to go through cycles where it gets better for a few months, and then it mysteriously returns. I thought it was my medications, but I really do not know. I can rarely remember any dreams, all I know is I wake up freezing cold and wet.

I bought myself a few extra sets of pajamas and I change into dry ones, sometimes two changes in a night. All cotton ones seem to work the best for me cause they can absorb the most (fleece is the worst).

If you have any tips on how to handle these, I would love to know them.
 
Thanks for the tip Whitney! I have used Zinc to reduce the severity and duration of colds, but never thought of it for night sweats. If I recall correctly, I can't take it on an empty stomach.

I forgot to mention an important detail. I also, at times, use a heated mattress pad after a bout of night sweats. The pad is designed to be used while sleeping. It has an 8 hour timer so it automatically shuts itself off if I forget. The pad helps me to warm back up and it also helps to dry out the bedding.
 
:laugh: May be menopause is it. Doubt it though, wrong gender, I have 6 sisters, and we have compared notes. I do not generate heat like they did/do. Nor can I get a good sweat going during the day (at least not passively).

I have them every single night. I always keep extra blankets so that if I wake up in the middle of the night freezing from the sweat I can just put on another layer. I also keep extra clothes handy so that I can change into them. If you don't sleep clothed, maybe you could sleep with an exra top sheet - one above you and one below? And just keep some more top sheets handy so you can replace them?
 
I used to get them. I am glad I do not get them anymore. I went through alot of clothes when that was happening. I would wake up soaked with pools of water on me. The bed would be cold where I sweated.
