Now Gaba

I started taking Now brand Gaba about a month ago with my psyche approval. This has been a miracle drug for me. Not only does it help with my anxiety, I am actually getting decent sleep. I swear it is helping with nightmares.

I went into my local healthfood store and was going to get the PharmaGaba brand and the told not to get that one. They said the Now brand was not only cheaper it worked way better. It contains Taurine, inositol, and L-theanine as well. They were right!

The last time I went in to the shop I told them how much better my sleep was since I started taking it. They said they hadn't even thought about using it for sleep. I never though I would find anything that would help me sleep and I don't even know why it helps but it is a god send. 7 hours straight sleep is unheard of for me, but now it is near nightly and I haven't gone a single day with without getting at least some sleep.

For anyone who has had success with Gaba, I urge you to try the Now brand if possible.

Do you have a link? I searched for Now brand but the ones I found just had GABA not the Taurine, inositol, and L-theanine as well.

I have seizures- but well controlled. Gaba can lower ones seizure threshold so use caution if this might be you.

GABA caused breathing difficulties in me.
I think the quantities were too high and inhibited my CNS too much. But then, I was being administered it by my ex so I'm not really surprised.

Glad you've found something that works for you.
Just keep an eye out for your body building up tolerance to it :) it could happen.

The only time I know of that I have had a seizure was when I quit taking 3 different types of benzodiazpines at once. My psychiatrist (she was away when her colleague prescribed me that much) approved it.

Yeah, I had like zero knowledge about them, which is partially my fault, I should have done more research. I wasn't even on them long enough to build a tolerance. 2 1/2 months.

From what I’ve experienced and read, it’s not uncommon for docs to push this crap on us and then cut us off cold turkey once we are dependent.

My first foray into benzos was in the hospital so I had no opportunity to research what they were putting me on.

I really like NOW products. A psychiatrist recommended them to me last year.

I take a few NOW products, and I agree they're high quality. I've looked into GABA, but never purchased it, but I'll give it a go.

"Doctor's Best" is another brand I'm really glad I found. I take several supplements of theirs and they're both high-quality and affordable.
