On The Road To Colorado

Well while lying down and thinking I realised I forgot to pack my air mat. Glad I remembered now. Molly was asleep in her crate and there was a Walmart 10 min from my cousin. That would have been horrible if that happened tomorrow. So I ended up buying an air matress instead. I am going to leave the cot at my cousins house. Now I will be able to see out the back window as well.

I cant say the first few days have not been chalenging. Had a major break down emotionaly near Roswell New mexico. found out I had no bed to sleep on and it was beyond hot. I drove Too long. To top it off Molly saw a Jack rabbit and got away from me. I tought she was gone.Thankfull aftrr three calls and what felt like forever she was back at the campsite

I am in The Santa Fe National forest at 8500 ft above sea level with no signal anywere near. I have meat some interesting people some in almost the same situation as mine. The best news is that my pain levels are down drastically.Ill be heading to Colorodo on Monday.

I so admire you for your bravery and courage to go on this trip and I am glad you pop in from time to time with updates and very happy about the pain levels being down for you.

Not feeling so brave. Been very depresed. Part of me wants to turn around and go home. Only issue is home is 22 hours away. Heading North. Poured rain so I checked into a hotel for the night.
