I usually get "I don't know" as an answer from my son. It is his way of tuning me out or going absent. He can't physically do so, so I get the blank answer. It drives me CRAZY! Yes I have PTSD, yes he has PTSD and I should just .. well you know get it. However it's a very different way of taking a leave of absence then I am used to.
Well yesterday is the FIRST TIME EVER that I actually got an answer. It was something very simple, where did my scissors go and why where they there.. I got the usual answer of I don't know, then he pulled out the scissors and said he was cutting something open and forgot to put them back.
SUCCESS!!!!:occasion: It only took six years!!!! :eek:
