Support welcome.
I just hate this phase, when these post trauma symptoms are settled in and predictable, while I chip away at dealing with them and wait for 'that fine day' when the will go down to a dull roar.
Don't you just hate this phase? I do.
Today, while at a bank, I jump as glass doors begin to clamor behind me, and move to the far corner of the room.
Hate this phase. To explain or not to explain. To take more meds and feel sedated, or take the same amount and be a nervous nellie. To decide what 'extra psychological and extra psychiatric' self-help activity to do and that I can afford, to help me.
With each unexpected anxiety flash, internally, at I first use profane explicatives. At least writing this calms me down enough to remember that my brain, is just doing its protective duty, after having my life threatened one month ago.
That 'one fine day' will eventually come.
Please share what gave you hope until your acute symposium simmered down.
