Our Pets

Once I had to go away for two days leaving my dog Sam with my mum and Uncle who lived next door to each other. Apparently during Sam's stay mum had to go to the shops so she left Sam with my Uncle. Now Sam was pure white with a black nose, sort of longs ears that hung down. When I came home I went straight to my house, got Sam's lead because he was too big and naughty for Mum or Uncle to take him for walks.

So I walked around to my Uncle's house and of course Sam was so excited, he knew it was me knocking. When my Uncle opened the door I was greeted by a big white dog who had large black glasses drawn around his eyes and up and down his ears. He sort of looked like a very intelligent dog. (you know what glasses can make a person look intelligent - same effect) Well mum and the entire family thought it was hilarious and I must admit Sam did look very well read, lol. Unfortunately when I went to rub it off it didn't come off. Uncle had used PERMANENT BLACK MARKER PEN. It was so embarrassing walking him and it took the best part of a month to fade, Uncle was banned from having Sam again lol. People walking or driving past slowed down to take a second look and obviously attributed Sam's "glasses" to me. How embarrassing it was.

Not sure if it belongs in here, but today I think we saw a moose for first time? :) Jake said it was a moose, i'm not sure...he seems to think he has saw 5 moose since he came to Sweden lol :).

I hope to see a bear or wolf...

Oh I wish I could. Maybe one day, but I think it will be a long time coming. I wouldn't inflict my weight on a poor horse :sorry:

The glasses are hilarious!! If my dog's face wasn't so dark, I'd consider doing that just for fun!!
My boy has been spending days at a "structured daycare." He absolutely loves it!! He has learned to run on a treadmill and we started scent training. That dog is smarter than I am!! :whistling:

Great idea! Here are my dogs and cat. The cat is 10, the dogs 4 &2 years old. All are rescues and I Love them dearly!

Wow I love that,did he say if it had those magnificent antlers. I too would love to see wolf and hear the call of a Wolf, I think they are the most hauntingly beautiful sounds.

amethist I appreciate that people can have different pets, there has been a few um lets say unique ones already but this one is a champion and I am very glad it lives with you daughter, I assume you have to feed it dead mice and yukky stuff like that? No way could I have a reptile as a pet, you have a brave daughter.

I love the way my dog's paws smell like fritos when she first wakes up in the morning! It makes me feel warm and cozy, safe for a moment. How weird is that?!
