My husband got layed off from his work and we had to sell out and move. We could not handle all of that responsibility now.

Oh, Gizmo, my heart aches to hear that you had to let that go. My absolute worst fear is losing means/space to be with my furry family. Just that you some how managed to still be an alive being after losing those so dear to you speaks volumes about your inner strength. VOLUMES!

In another post on a different thread (I think about service animals) I mentioned how my dog, Sadie, is so patient with the four cats in the house. And that Leo (the only male) tries to steal Sadie's bed space. Well, I'm uploading a file of my sweetly mischievous Leo/Lío.
His name is a homonym play of words: Lío in Spanish means a mess.;)

My dog licks me to wake me up every morning, then she gets up and begs to be pet. Lately she has been jumping on our laps to be pet. She went for a car ride today and got a compliment for being so cute. She just loves her car rides.
