Our Pets

The oldest big man at g/f home.. In back ground on first pic is "maggy" at first now he's known as max considering he was fixed when he decided she would be the one to take care of him. She thinks its funny, I think animals know WHOM will be good to them especially with cats they find you more than you find them.

He's a trauma survivor too by the way, I think that's why we're joined at the hip.
Aw, Squweak, I feel this way about my little beagle/basset girl. She is a trauma survivor and feels like my kindred spirit in a lot of ways because of it. Also, she was an owner-surrender from TN and so was I.
Is it possible to attach images not from a website but from my computer? I'd love to put her up on here.

@missantisunshine
Yes absolutely! I missed it the first few times but at the bottom right of your screen are three little buttons

Post reply; upload a file and more options. Click upload a file and its pretty much cake from there! :) I'm so excited to see your beagle

He died in 2007 when he ran out the door and ate something that shut down his liver. He had to be put to sleep :(

Caliaviator,
I'm so sorry :( My cat actually ran out the door on me this past winter I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I'm sure he's in an incredible place watching over you <3

PS Squweak thank you for the instructions! I will probably post these in my diary too.
PPS Your kitty's leg spots are so cute and distinctive. Annie has white socked feet, and the white edging on one of her feet looks like Batman's head. We call it Batfoot. ^-^

Haha that's adorable, I never really noticed the white spots on his front legs before. :) Annie is beautiful by the way, my cat is quite the thief as well but he's partial to feather earrings lol. Once we find his hiding place we can all get our costume jewelry back.

Oh! And no problem, glad to help :D

I have two little bunnies that have free run of our apartment (the little orange one is in a fenced off area because he hurt his hip and is still recovering)
The orange one (Momiji) is my bunny and is the self-declared head of the house LOL. He stomps, grunts, and headbutts all those who defy his authority but looooves it when Mama rubs his ears.
The black one (Impa) is my husband's bunny and is a spoiled rotten brat who is always sticking her nose where it doesn't belong LOL. She has been trapped inside of plastic bags, boxes, and tight corners because she went snooping into things that weren't her business. LOL She cracks me up (and scares me half to death with her love of plastic)

The second picture is of Momiji when he was still a baby. I think it's funny because he looks more like a cotton ball than an actual creature.

Oh, and to add in, I saw that a lot of people's pets are also trauma survivors. Impa is a trauma survivor too, but her trauma was unintentional. Her previous owner was a 4 year old boy who just had SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE, which led to him getting over-excited and freaking out little Impa. She still hates small children and attacks when she hears loud sounds, but she's gotten better. She doesn't give 2 hoots about me, but is absolutely joined at Joel's hip. :roflmao:
There's just something about Joel and trauma-surviving women...
