Our Pets

Why do cats love to sit in cardboard boxes. When we had cats, one of the adored boxes. I wonder if it is because many are born in boxes and consider them safe.

She had a hard time fitting her butt in that last one. Somehow she got into it. She weighs less then 7 pound and doesn't look like she is 5 years old.

I had a bad morning this morning and one of our dogs (the youngest, Honey) would not leave me alone. I climbed up on the bed and she jumped up to follow me, which she does not normally do.

She looked me straight in the eyes, gave me her paw and gently placed her chin on my shoulder.:inlove:

The other day the three of us lied down for our nap. Buddy(terrier mix), Sparkles(housecat) and myself. We all got comfortable when all of a sudden Buddy stretched out and popped Sparkles in the nose with her back paw. Sparkles looked indignant at her, shook his head, and dug his snout down into my hand to avoid having that happen again.

lol, we had several boxes (small) stacked on top of one another.

It was quite unstable, but the cat insisted on sitting on it, and then panicked when the dog play rushed him and he fell from grace in a tumble of boxes!

Very amusing!

We've started taking the PuppyCat to dog 'therapy', now that she's firmly bonded with me, and becoming more confident, we are taking her to designated fenced dog parks so that she can learn how to interact normally and play with other dogs.

Went last night, and it took about an hour for her to learn she couldn't keep hiding behind me, and that my other half wasn't going to let her keep coming back to me. So after a bit she learned to start dealing with the other dogs.

We'll take her again tonight, as it's only a 10-15 min drive from my partner's work place, so she can start learning to be a little more independent of me, leading up to bubs' birth.
