Know what you mean, ours are all til death do you part as well. Daisy has an incontinence issue that she's on meds for, we adopted her from the shelter at a year old and she's 13 almost 14 now.

Our animals have adjusted remarkably well to our daughter. Very patient with her, and love cuddling her.

What do you wake up to in the morning?

@intothelight I wake up to many kisses. My Buddy gives me a ton and I, in return, pet and scratch her belly. It is a regular love fest. Your dog is adorable.

My two are Border collies, Jiggy is the smaller black and white dog and Xander is the big tricolour boy.
They're Emotional Support Dogs and they're some of the best friends I could ever have. :)

Dear me, these two make me laugh, even if my cooking is going straight to the dog!!!

When I lie down with Buddy she seems to instinctively know when it has been an hour, she gets up and positions herself so that she is staring directly into my face. She wags her tail when I open my eyes. She is my little alarm clock.

Okay so spare prayers or healing intentions are welcome for my Jesse. She goes in for her blood lab test tomorrow after my morning shift. When I got home this evening, she has been bitten by one of the other dogs, but when I asked my husband about it he just stood there blank. She was fine when I went back to work this afternoon.

Just below her eye is inflamed, and she has tooth marks two places but no blood so it didn't appear to break the skin. Fortunately I guess, she is going to the clinic anyway. I don't know if it was because she had a seizure or not... he didn't see anything. I cut her epilepsy med by 1/2 a tablet as a precautionary measure because her liver function numbers are awful. 999... way out of range. I've been watching her for signs of jaundice or liver failure 3 weeks tomorrow.
