For me there aren't very many triggers. It either happens or it don't. Keeping busy certainly helps. Physically is best, but mentally is good, too. And because of that many counselors have told me it's a figment of my over-active imagination. Even those that recognizedit exists. That's about like being in a shipwreck in the middle of the Pacific ocean. Here they are, swimming with sharks circling around, and they're telling the rest of the survivors, all as wet and ready to eat, that the water is a figment of their over-active imagination. There ya go. Just might work until the first bite. Or in my case, the flashbacks return.
