So for the last few nights I've been paranoid and have had to keep my bedroom light on to sleep which has been leading to bad sleeping. I have a lava lamp an a night light so it's not like my room is pitch black when I turn the lights off. When i do turn the light off I instantly try to get into bed afraid of what could get me on the ground. I've been looking at everything imagining it as something really bad or thinking things moved when they didn't sending me jumping up and staring around that area. I know nothing moved or there's really nothing bad but it still scares me. It's also stopping me from sleeping in the comfortable positions that help me fall asleep cause that means turning my back to the closet the place I'm by far the most afraid of. Last night I slept with a stuffed animal I got when I was ten and it helped but it still wasn't great. Does this happen to you? Am I just being childish? Nothing particular has happened to make me this 'paranoid' I'm usually not.
