Good luck in therapy! It is really hard luck but so worth it.

Can you perhaps take 20 or 30 minutes after work of relaxing before you jump into mommy-hood? A quiet walk, sitting in your car at a body of water, meditating. Have you looking into mindfulness at all? I find it very helpful in transitioning to parenting.

On the weekends or days off, are you able to schedule some "me time"? You might feel guilty as you are away through the week, but it could go a long way to being more present when you are with him.
