I thought maybe we could make up a chain of our photographs that would cheer us up a bit. I have found photography to be a great way to get out of the house, find interesting things to look at and then to share. ANd I have also found that folks enjoy seeing beautiful and interesting things. So! Here goes.

In celebration of the season, and to start this photo collage of photos of stained glass that I have done.
This is a stained glass lamp at our nearby Cultural Arts Center here in Andrews, NC. The building is a National Historical Site.
Here is another view of it.

ANd this is from one of the stained glass windows in that building, of which there are some 20 or so.

I took a series of about 30 photographs of this building. Originally it was the First Baptist Church here in town, but as that church outgrew it's buiding, it moved into a newer larger one. However, this old building and it's priceless stained glass windows has been well preserved.
I do all kinds of photos, and I shall try to share them here sometimes. Please feel free to share your photos too! Hopefully we can all be cheered up with these, and in the sharing get to know one another better. Art is theraputic, both for the artist and the viewers!!!
