Today was the big bird count. Saw 21 different species, but most of my photos were of squirrels. LOL

LMAO.. I loooove squirrels… but my dad is at war with them.

He’s also decided “our” squirrels have become carnivorous… since he mistook a crust of bread left for the birds (that the squirrel made off with) was actually a piece of chicken left for the crows. Headdesk. No. Dad. It was bread. IT WAS NOT! NO MORE FEEDING THE WILD ANIMALS! THE squirrels ARE EATING IT!!!

And because, of course, google says squirrels eat insects. Which they do. Which is not a raw chicken thigh I dropped on the floor. And, as such, went to the crows. But my father is now convinced. The squirrel army is coming for his steak. >.<

I loooove squirrels

Me, too. Of course, there isn't an animal I don't love, but I esp. like squirrels. My mom used to be at war with them, then she decided to just start feeding them, and they are pretty respectful of her space now. Well, as long as she doesn't forget. Then they sit on the railing of her deck and just stare at the back porch until she feeds them. LOL
