The neighbor's dog got loose today and amazingly enough she came right to me when I called her. I keep hearing them say she's unpredictable and bites people and won't come if they call her, but we seem to have a pretty close bond, and the tail never stops wagging when I start talking to her and putting her on the leash.
Maybe she just doesn't care much for them for keeping her pinned up all the time. Who knows? In this pic, she was wanting to get back outside, like, "Look, lady, I busted out of that joint to run free, so let me be, would ya'?" But we live too close to a busy road for my heart to let me do that. She had no interest whatsoever in the bowl of water and the dog pillow I put down for her. So we took a nice long walk until they came and got her.
After the unexpected dog adventure and extended walk that we took in the cold flip your wig kind of weather so she could sniff out the 'hood, I came back in and propped my feet up on the exercise ball. It hasn't been used as much lately for exercise, but it matched my socks so well today I couldn't resist using it for a temporary foot rest. That actually inspired me to get up and do core exercises on it, and then I even dragged my hula hoop out and cranked up some jams. Might need to use that foot rest more often. lol
Flying to the coast yesterday to attend my nieces wedding. I took this with my iPad so not the best picture. The snow on the mountains was incredibly white with a stunning blue sky. I love flying.
That looks like so much fun, @berlinda ! I can't do the indoor dance scene due to the overwhelming fragrances, but definitely look forward to the change of seasons so I can shake a leg in the outdoor music scenes. Rock on, sister! Dancing is such good medicine.
Speaking of good medicine, here's a shot of the beginning stages of my bath tub/magnesium flakes & epsom salts/breathing exercises/singing bowl therapy...all of which marinates the head space and the meat coated skeleton in the most soothing of ways...so grateful to have the significant pains lessening enough, knock on wood, to grant me safe access to enjoy it...
