Mmmmm...dandelions. I really dig them, too. Literally. :) Roasted dandelion root tea (my new coffee for the last several years), the yummy greens, and the pretty flowers are all a part of my self-care consumption habits. Nature freely provides so much of what we need, but many insist on calling them weeds and poisoning them, along with the rest of their land and the water supplies, simply to have their grass look better. Silly f'n humans.
Took the camera for a walk and
really wish there was a scratch and sniff option. This is a pic of a small part of a limb on a dead Douglas Fir tree, but even though it's no longer vibrant, green, and full of life, it still has beauty and smells amazing if you gently scratch the surface of it....smells a lot like cotton candy. Rainy days create an abundance of the scent surrounding the space where they reside.
Grateful for the reminder that although I, too, may not feel vibrant and full of life, more often than not as of late, I still have much worth that I may tend to overlook. Sometimes you just have to scratch beneath the surface, so to speak, to find and experience the true inner wealth.
