Thanks, it's actually a standard shot though it does kinda look like a panoramic hey. The wall at the end actually extends a long way below where my photo cuts off.

Can you tell that I love trees?

I just opened my bedroom windows after a lie-in this morning, to see the first magnolia bloom revealing its delicate self to the world.

You can see the pink bud peeking through over on the right side of the tree.

This magnolia tree holds so much symbolism for me; losing its leaves in the autumn, it erupts into a full bloom just as the winter ends.
No leaves to photosynthesise for months, it connects instead with that energy that it stored deep within itself from the summer.

Right when the rest of its world is saying "that isn't possible", the magnolia replies "just watch me."


What a beautiful day to be alive.

This is a different horse, my new rescue. He is really tall.
