I had another moment with many dragon flies all at once yesterday and tried to capture a photo. I think I see at least 7 in this shot...but ya' gotta look really close. There were many more, but my shutter speed can't keep up with their wing speed. I wish I could capture it on video with a head cam so you could see a bird's eye view....but nonetheless, here's my attempt at a snapshot...

Then I captured, by pure luck, a fuzzy view of an individual one...

Then I walked under the oak tree and found this little fella working and dancing his way down to prepare to get his pupate on....

I been out of tune with taking photo and trying to get back. The intuition i have hard time feeling it. Posting on other threads ok trying to stay positive. I realize the motivation to capture is a present of its own, even moreso when we feel connected.

This is a cargo ship parked near the city. There is much environmental opposition of having big ships in our westcoast waters with their pollution. I wanted to catch the ship's beauty in the pollution of city lights welcoming the night.
