We're going to plant the sun gold cherry tomatoes in big pots,
@VioletButterfly , the Cherokee purple big tomatoes in the ground, and haven't fully decided on all of the peppers, yet. We typically do them in pots, but might switch to the garden this year, depending on what else we get going, as well as how many volunteers pop up.
We also have collard seeds coming up indoors, got some spinach and kale in the raised bed outdoors, and have a few more things we want to get going. Our biggest hurdle is deciding which ones and how many, then we end up with way too many, or none at all. Garden gambling...one of my more fruitful addictions. Ha!
We're aiming to plant enough to share with family, friends, and neighbors during these uncertain times. We tend to go overboard and plant more than we can consume anyway, so it always works out well in the sharing scene. We managed to remember to start the seeds indoor earlier than we did last year, so that should help move things along, and be much cheaper since I won't have to go looking to buy starts.
I might start more greens in pots to be able to share with others, too. They grow fairly quickly and many of them grow over and over after being harvested. The gift that keeps on giving that's fairly low maintenance. Sorry for the long answer. I have a really bad case of spring fever and playing in the dirt is my favorite way to treat it. ?
Oh my gosh,
@Sideways ! Your pup is so freakin' adorable! Love that face! ?
