Perhaps a wren of some sort, @whiteraven ? Not really sure. The cardinals are an absolute favorite, and you got a great shot! I always think of our dear @ladee when I see them.

Thank you! Yes, I am thinking a Carolina Wren - the only reason I question it is because I don't think the songs match. I have to explore further.

Today May 23rd is World Turtle Day.

I did not think I would be celebrating as I have been quote tired but glad I was able to find exactly 3 shrimps in freezer for the exact 3 turtle friends I have. There is a rosemary bush in the front so I got inspired to celebrate World Turtle Day with the babies.

It seems I was correct in my assumptions of a new fawn just having just been born the other day. Spotted them heading across the field today, but between my dirty kitchen window and my poor camera skills when in a hurry, this is all I got...

A newborn Fawn is such a blessing. To watch them grow is awesome. Light a candle for safety for both Mom and baby.
