Cath that is stunning, where is it. ?

LOl @ amethist! I wish it was my back garden amethist! It's Bodnant Garden, near Conwy (Wales) and it's an absolutely stunning NT property. The house is private but the gardens are something else. Have you ever been to Bidolph Grange or Little Moreton Hall? They are up your way, we go there regularly.

This pic is of lake Erie at Port Maitland. This is where the Grand River starts from the lake and goes for several miles north. 6 miles on each side of the river is native indian land. The lighthouse is still in use and it runs on solar power.Link Removed

The first of the rainbow is at the local hiking trail that I used to go bird watching at.

The second pic is of Tews Falls during a cold winter.

The train station is now a museum and is in Smithville Ontario not too far from me.

And the last pic is of the crazy fools going for their polar bear swim on New Year's Day in frigid lake Ontario. That lake is cold even in the summer unless we had a very hot summer, then it wasn't too bad.

I so love your photos Sandra, especially the waterfall. And those crazy nutters going for a swim in freezing weather - totally nuts! :D

They always have an ambulance on site in case anything happens to anyone in their swim. It has been a yearly event here for many years now.

I love great blue herons. We have a lot of them here on our waterways. :)
