My PTSD stems from chilhood abuse/neglect, however, I did have an awful experience with the police about...

Ah yes, the statute of limitations. That is a good one. Those will often run out before a victim can really figure out what the hell really happened.

I have learned many lessons after security personnel, police officers and other individuals have simply refused to help me. Not only did they refuse to help, they actually turned and harassed me instead.

What I have learned is this: police officers are usually not what the public will think they are. They are just as abusive and criminal as many average street criminals anywhere.

It is a tough lesson.
