I have now added a sub-forum to the chit chat forum, specifically for political discussions. That way, such topics are not viewed by those who don't want to see them, then there are no excuses for any rants within such conversations. If you expose yourself to read political discussions, then you accept there may be opinions you do not agree with, and forum rules are still firmly in force with such discussions.
Politics can aid in how to communicate effectively, to assist in being assertive via opinions, without defending yourself, your opinion, or attacking another for theirs. You read and accept each other for how we are, regardless of viewpoint.
Contrary to some members beliefs, there is no right or wrong to another's opinion, and they should assertively be respected as just that, their personal opinion.
