Well, one of my decisions is made if this agreement passes, and that is I will be out of work and looking. Because in personal care homes it is mandated to force all care. I will not do that without consent, that would be traumatizing for both of us, especially intimate care. No. Way. I was thinking these people teach or have studied about dementia for decades; I've cared for and spoken directly with those with dementia for decades. The only thing worse than doing that would be coming back the next day, if the first time was bad the next would be 1000x worse- talk about how to destroy all trust. My male coworker said the same. If this becomes the case it is not an option for me. Whatever scramble it may be. Though I don't want to lose 1/2 my pension.
