@Heather - That's why we call it faith. God works in His time and in His way. He will bring beauty from ashes. Keep praying and keep believing. I know how hard it is, but we all have to work on that faith muscle every day, despite how desperate we feel, how much we are suffering, or how much we want to turn and run away. He is faithful and He has a purpose for all that happens in our lives. Trust in Him. If it might help if you had a daily source of inspiration. I would recommend Jesus Calling as I find it immensely comforting and encouraging, but there are many devotionals out there from which to choose. Praying for you, sweetie. VB

@SheilaKathy - Please take good care of yourself!! Lyme and Pleurisy together? How are you even moving? Lyme took me down for 6 months and that was with my taking doxycycline. Praying for a full recovery for you. VB

I went for 5 years undiagnosed with the Lyme, so it went into my heart. Now it has gone into my right knee and into the outer layers of my lungs. I have been on antibiotics for it so many times now that I have lost count. I'm taking 500 mg of Ceftin twice per day right now, for what ails me this time....

I understand this can turn chronic if not caught in time and am so sorry you are having to deal with this. I believe mine was caught fairly early as I started with not being able to sleep, sweats and cognitive dysfunction, and then had the rash pop up right after I was using a scrubby on my shoulder where I think I dislodged the tick (wow, that hurt). All within a couple of weeks. As it was, even after treatment, my knees hurt like crazy, I had extreme fatigue, mental fog, and emotional fragility. The tiniest thing would tip me over the edge and back into bed.

I'm so impressed by your stamina and determination. Saying a special prayer for you. VB

Prayers for everybody! Need prayer to find favor with the manager of the plant nursery I need to get a job with. I have to wait till mid February to take them donuts and keep going back to keep me in mind.

I'm doing a lot better today, but my knee was really swollen today. I prayed to the Lord and it is somewhat better now. I want to walk to the Post Office tomorrow, so I hope it heals more by then. Thanks to everyone who has prayed for me, I so appreciate it. I am praying for you folks too, of course.

@SheilaKathy I am keeping you in my prayers for healing and good health and thank you for keeping me in yours as well!!!

I don't know if I ever mentioned this but I consider myself a Universalist Christian and believe that most all of us, with the exception of Lucifer and the fallen angels, will rejoin God in the end. I don't know if there are other Universalist Christians here, but I thought I would mention it, just in case there are some here who might believe as I do.

I have taken a turn for the worse, I went back to the Hospital last night with chest pain and they kept me most of the day and then sent me home with anxiety medicine, and some other meds, and diagnosed me with bronchitus, without addressing my confusion, extreme forgetfulness and I forget what else. So my mental health folks are coming to examine me tomorrow.

Praying for all those whom have requested - that a form of healing comes gently and continually through the whispers of grace and abundant mercy within the authority and blessing of our Lord's name Christ Jesus. May each feel the glimmer of hope through these sad challenges, may love permeate each wound, may a form of unique healing needed and known only to you & the Creator wave through the fog of pain. May those promises of the word found within the scripture touch your heart in such an inspirational manner that you know the touch of an angel is surely by your side at this time. Amen

@SheilaKathy I'm so sorry to hear about this turn in your health. I haven't been out to the forum in a little while now so am just seeing your post above. I hope, by now, that you are feeling better. Saying prayers of healing and praying for God's blessings for you. VB

Yes, I am doing much better now than I was, but I still have a ways to go yet, especially for my knee, which is being affected by Lyme Disease arthritis. I put an ace bandage on it last night as I slept, so the swelling has come down some at least and it is not as sore. Thanks for the prayers, everyone. There are certainly some results. Our God is an AWESOME God!
