Oooof. Great list. But I still can't handle Pink Floyd, The Final Cut. Beginning of "Tail Gunners Dream" sounds too much like the real thing on the ship. Makes me weepy. But a bang on album partially about PTSD.

And one for the Canadians Melanie Safka "What have they done to my song, Ma" great lyrics.

Also

Velvet Underground or Black Crowes version of "Oh sweet nothin"
Rolling Stones. Let it Bleed. The whole album.
Beatles. White Album.
REM. "Orange Crush." Listened to that countless times on my way to Lebanon.
AC/DC. "Highway to Hell"
Bong Water "Too much sleep" Like that ever happens anymore.
Nirvana Unplugged of which most are Meat Puppet covers. "Jesus Doesn't Want Me for a Sunbeam", "Lake of Fire", "Plateau", "Oh Me" and the Lead Belly cover "Where did you Sleep Last Night"

And Debbie Gibson and Tiffany. You know you love em Dan. They're Marine marching songs.
