PTSD, OCD, Panic... Disabled From It

hello,
looking for advice on hot to cope..... mayb meds... mayb cognitive...mayb something new.
39 yrs old n disabled from this disease for 5 years..
my ptsd leads into ocd..... scared i am gonna die from my racing heart beat..... i have destroyed my skin... i need help.

Take a look around, read through the information sections, read lot's of the different threads as you will find many subjects and comments you can relate to.

And your not gonna die from your racing heart (annoying and scary as it is.. it's just an anxiety attack!)

Yup the anxiety attacks are hell, but like bec said, you can't die from them, they just feel crappy.

Hi Sandra,

I, and I am sure everyone, on this forum suffer from panic attacks. The only advice I can give is the exercise my therapist gave me. Become aware of your breath and come back into the present moment. It takes practice, but it will work.
