Hi,

I was fully agoraphobic for years, and have just discovered it was probably the outward symptom of PTSD. I'm now a recovering agoraphobic (in the same sense of being a recovering alcoholic - it never fully goes away for me).

Thanks for the welcome, BewitchedBewildered. twopenny, that's how I look at it, too. Some days aren't that bad and it may not ever go away, but I'm trying to keep forward progress.

I too stumbled across this forum a few years ago, after I had just recently received a PTSD diagnosis and was trying to figure out what that meant.
