Good luck, Barry!
I'll be thinking of you, and cheering you on!
This is a really good and positive step.
I hope they pick the best meds for you, first try! Sometimes it takes several trial runs of different medications to get just the right fit, and they might need to be readjusted from time to time, as your body adjusts to them. Some your body might "like", others might be rather "icky". Just let your doctor know if you have unwanted side-effects, and you'll hopefully find a good match of prescriptions and dosages that will be helpful.
I also did a sleep test, which turned out to be very useful. They wanted to see what type of sleep disturbances I had, and so I went overnight to sleep in a sleep lab at the hospital. Out of that came a couple of prescriptions that helped for a long while. I was glad I did that. Plus, the Dr. was really nice and taught me a few things that I could try to help my sleep.
Wishing you a great appointment on Thursday!
Good luck!
