@whiteraven - I really do understand your experiences with HR. I've been there more than once in similar situations. I'm so very sorry that you're having to deal with this. Often, I have found, it comes down to us deciding if we stay or go in these scenarios. I have chosen to leave in the past because I knew that I couldn't fight with them and felt I couldn't win. You know best what your environment and experiences have been and are, so you will need to make a choice for yourself. Preparation, finding another job, etc... are probably your best route given my experience and temperment. Often, even if HR might be 50-50 amenable, we might not have the energy and wherewithal to fight. You choice, your decision.
