Just thinking this through logically though, what would happen next? If they don't guess it's from you, you'll have the satisfaction of having sent it, but the person will be none the wiser so that doesn't advance the possibility of a real relationship... if that is what you are hoping for?

I've never had it happen, and I suppose it would depend on the letter. I'd probably be suspicious, to be honest. Because someone who wasn't some kind of threat would probably be comfortable revealing their identity.

Then you wanted my opinion. :confused: It looks more like you may be looking for agreement that it's a good idea, so I shall back out of this conversation and let others step in.
