Redemption And Street Photography

Spending much of today, after minimal sleep last night, contemplating my prospects. I have eaten the left-over (casserole, but better type) food that my Syrian house-mate, former English student and... compadre kindly donated to me, in a car park 40 miles (or so) North of our shared dwelling; in a suburb, Nollamara, of diverse (Somali, Iraqi, Aboriginal, Iranian, white) ethnic blending.

The attached shots represent possibly my last Friday night City crusade with the Canon EOS 70D, as I'm now full-frame (7D MkII) equipped. While uncertainty may dominate most aspects of my forecast for 2017, if history is anything to go by, photography will in all likelihood be a recurring and redemptive feature.

These are beautiful! Street photography does seem like such a redemptive pursuit. You can shoot hundreds of pictures a day and you never know when that ONE will jump out that has just the right unexpected combination of elements :)
