I am so excited- I'm renting a small apartment for a first time! I recently started therapy and working on myself, which is also something that requires sometimes more time on my own, and I don't really have the perfect place for that. Also for the past year, while I was trying to fix my issues with outwards success I was looking for a place to work from as an office.
I wasn't productive at home(because sleeping and working all day in the same room isn't that healthy- who would have thought?:P) and I was at many times too anxious about going to cafe or shared office. I work for myself, and also I have tried to introduce art into my work, however you can't bring that into shared office or cafe...
So my dream was a small office/apartment that I can use for art studio and regular office. Also my current therapy makes me feel like it would be nice having some space of my own where I can do what I feel like doing, or occasionally crash there if I need more space or whatever...But it was out of my price range....
And now I have found a place! Cheaper because it's discounted for a friend, and small, but it will be just for me! Rented or not, it's the first place I am ever having of my own! I had a room with my sibling as a child, roomates in university, and then moved in with my partner...so it's always been full house...and this, however small, will be just mine! So many things to figure out around it, with bills and furniture and ...everything. But- it's a step towards being happier and more independent, and healthier! It's a dream that I didn't think I could reach for another year or two at least,. and something I've felt I needed for a VERY long time;))).
I'm getting keys by the end of the week!!!
