I am very sad about the loss of a dear and trusted friend. I agree with Scout in that you really do need support for yourself. I hope you can have that kind of support.

@Mr Laurie My condolences for your loss.

I had a friend a few years ago who was murdered by her common law husband. While we weren't very close. It was a painful thing to have learned.

I can't imagine how it would have felt had been closer, as you and your friend were.
