LOL Amethist! The railway museum would be good if it rains but I might loose my H among the trains - yawn! (Seriously, he won't abandon us).

I don't think I'm going to make it to York. I'm kicking myself a bit because it was so good to meet everyone in Birmingham. But York at the moment seems too much of a step.

But I wanted to say something because I'm very aware how unsociable I am at the moment, but I havn't forgotton what lovely people you all were when we met earlier in the year.

I hope you all have a wonderful time (((hugs)))

As it now less than 2 weeks until our meet up, I thought now plans should be made of where to meet up on the day.

I was thinking in the Railway Station under the main time boards. There is only one set, so they will be easy to find. This is not too far from the museum gardens and only round the corner from the Railway Museum if that is where we end up.

We obviously cannot rely on the weather being dry and sunny.

Sorry I did try. :D

IT WILL BE DRY!!!!! Rain is not on the agenda:D.

If dry, I will meet you in the museum gardens. Being on the lazy side , I have to walk past the gardens to get to the railway museum.

You should be easy to spot. It isn't easy to hide a group of grown ups carrying teddy bears/fluffy animals.

Hubby has said today if it is wet he will not be coming with me.

He wants to come along and is looking forward to some posh picnic food. Bribary and corruprion works a treat sometimes. ;)

Disappointing yes, but after the issue with his back last week with the damp weather, I can understand how he feels. It aches so much he struggles to walk, and does not want to collapse in the middle of York.

Some come on, lets all do the Sun dance this week, so we all can enjoy our picnic in the museum gardens.

If I forget my sun cream it will be hot, hot, hot! :roflmao:

My car won't start again this morning so I'm very anxious and H is annoyed with it. It has just cost us £240+ to get it fixed!!!!!!! Oh I hope it is fixed before Saturday but I'll have no money left once we sort it out!

I suggest that if it is dry we meet in the gardens and if it is wet we meet at the station? How does that sound to everyone?
