How important is the concept of "civilization" for your sufferer?

I have ptsd and don't use that term. Am I missing out on something?

I am just asking because PTSD was often caused by a "breakdown of civilization" such as war, famine, rape, home intrusion or whatever.

For my sufferer it important he is no savage, he is a gent. How about others?

He doesn't use that word specifically, but he has an aversion to the filthy living conditions he saw in the third world.

Yes, mine too. He cannot look at filthy stuff. It gives him some kind of "mental itch".

For him it is important to have certain standards of cleanness, of conduct and so on and when this standards are threatened, it feels dangerous for him. At least this is what I THINK how he feels about things.
