I know this title is going to get some attention! :)
Before anyone jumps to the wrong conclusion here, No! I am am not suicidal nor is this a plan to end my life...
To and for me, this post is a combination of spiritual beliefs and religious beliefs and some possible connecting pieces together. I will be discussing here too, the death of a loved one, the deaths of two very dear special canines as well as well as my own experiences with death (spiritual death and seizures along with what may have been a near death experience at a young age).
In 1996, I was rushed to the hospital after having outwardly in appearance to be a Grand Mal seizure (to the untrained eye).
I was admitted to the intensive care unit where I learned that a very crucial bodily elemental level (potassium) had dropped. Prior to this episode to my knowledge, I have no known epilepsy on my mom's side of the family that is known. My biological father's exact medical history is unknown as he was an orphan that was left on the doorstep of a church. (information from mom).
I was as usual medicated at the onset of my first seizure with anti-seizure medication and had follow up with a neurologist. The first medication that I was prescribed for this 'new' seizure disorder was Dilantin. Upon taking the medication, which I had later periods where I stopped taking the med for a variety of reasons resulted in me being rushed to emergency and followup with the neurologist for monitoring and testing.
I am going to post this and will pick up later as it is approaching 2 a.m. here...
