Self Forgiveness

I want to thank you all for being here. Your words of wisdom have helped me greatly. To give you an update talked with my therapist and I am going to scale back for awhile. I am going to keep working on mindfullnes and meditation. In a way I feel that I am avoiding but in another way I know it's better to do right now.
 
Everyone has said it all and I agree with them.

Scaling back is an excellent idea.

I do not need to forgive myself. I was an innocent child and the abuse was not my fault.

For years I was self tortured with so many false beliefs about me. I had tons of false guilt and felt like a failure as being a parent.

I Have reached acceptance of what happened to me and been able to put it in the past on my abusers who are really guilty.

The negative self talk needs to go. I hope it will with work on your part.

You are not as bad as you think you are and you are better than you think you are. A good friend told me this and it has so helped me to heal from the negative self talk. I wish you the best in your healing process.

Mabe, just a suggestion you can work on practical things now, the day to day experiences and how to cope and manage your symptoms better.
