I agree with the others that it is not your place. I tried to tell my family and it caused a lot of problems, (and I was the person abused).
By telling anyone else in the family, you are not only hurting yourself and your relationships, but other people as well. Remember that your mother may not be ready too-or ever - tell what happened. This is a situation for your mom to handle herself, when she is ready and chooses to.
