Shoutbox / Chat Released

I have no included the shoutbox / chat into this forum.

You can chat within:

• The homepage sidebar (short version)
• The full version
• Popout version

This is a shoutbox, that means what you write isn't private, nor does it just go away when you exit the shoutbox... because it is always on. So here are the settings for when a message disappears:

• Sidebar - 25 messages
• Full & Popout - 75 messages

That means that is as far back in history you can read, that also means that is how long something you write will be visible.

If you want a private chat, that facility is already located on the bottom left for members. You can even use the shoutbox to find someone you may want to move into a private chat with live, so no hanging around in chat any more.

Each message is limited to 500 characters and will stop when you reach it, in that you physically will not be able to type a message longer than 500 characters long into the field.

The public cannot see the shoutbox, it is purely members only visible.

Just happened to notice the homepage sidebar version of it. Didn't know what it was; now I do.

Yep, and the main link is in the main navigation... can't miss it. Either click it or hover over the arrow that appears to choose full or popup modes.
