It's my worst enemy, every morning. I routinely show up 10-15 lares for work, because I simply cannot bear the thought of getting out of bed until the "oh shit, I'm late!" Anxiety starts kicking in.
Any tips? What has worked for you guys.

I can hear my alarm from my bathroom, so sometimes I put it there and once I'm up, force myself to splash my face with water and perhaps even stumble into the shower before going back to bed... I wake up at least two hours early because it hurts to get started <.<

I once made a peppermint pray for my face and used that to help me wake up... I ran out and didn't make more, but 3-4 drops of peppermint oil in 12 oz distilled water really made my eyes sting awake in the morning xD

I have insomnia and I have a job. What I do around 10 pm I watch youtube videos especially the massage or chiropractic videos. Believe me you will become so drowsy that you have no choice but to go to sleep. When I notice I'm getting so drowsy I shut off my computer and head to bed- set the alarm - and I use the snooze button which helps. If you set the alarm to go off just perhaps 10 minutes earlier that will give you 10 minutes to wake up. That is what I do.

Ah yes. Sometimes I squirt some ginseng extract down my throat and let it do the job that my alarm cock and I seem incapable of. This can be a bit too much stimulation, though, in my experience.

I don't have any other suggestions other than to move your alarm clock across the room and make it as obnoxious as possible. If I'm finally getting sleep or am in a seriously depressive state, it's all I can do to get out of bed... and when I do, it's only after about a million hits to the snooze button. Anxiety is pretty much what forces me into the world. I feel ya! and I'm watching the thread hoping for more suggestions!

Music playing for about an hour before my alarm.
Getting up a few hours before I have to, to do something different / aka not work / before work.
Reset my clocks to a different time zone.

I would try an apple it moves the muscles in your mouth around and wakes you up. Don't do what I did and try an upper. Also don't try to drive faster and make it to work faster. I've driven on the shoulder of the road before. I have borderline issues as well.
