Very nice Sludge, most of those tunes were played after I left in 66.

I know they were popular in the bars and radio - me, I've been stuck in the 40/50's.

I just never got into the war music.

Got a busted-up Framus 12 string I banged across the place and entertaining troops as best I could. Played many of these, some Dylan and others. Still have my reel to reel with many of these songs on it.

I still play those old songs. I had 16 guitars at one point. I did not know at the time that the Beast was actually driving me. I did not like the anti-war songs though. $uckers might as well have sung them in North Vietnamese.
 
Ok, some of them were OK. I used to play Universal Soldier with different words. But some of the fluffy stuff was a little hard to swallow. Especially when you killing them from the air with a .30 or Haha, a GE Gatling gun (God made that gun for me).

A major source of anger. NVA that knew where we were infilling.
