I'm new to the province, in town for university, and I don't know many people yet. Is anyone else in the area looking for a connection?

I know the town. It's a small town, but I think it's growing if I'm not mistaken. (Extended Family lives there. Parents went to the uni. That's the reason I'm connected. I live somewhere else.)

Your best bet would probably be to look at the university itself. They might be able to connect you with support groups if you were to go to their Disability Services Office. (I'm assuming they do, since most universities do.)

Or you could ask your psychiatrist or therapist (if you've found one yet in St. John's.) That's the only suggestion I can give. Sorry I'm not much help.

Small town is right! And ironically, it's the province's largest city. The population of the entire regional district is comparable to the town I went to school in back home in BC.

I was not a club-goer before coming to St. John's, but it's inevitable when studying in a city that has a foot-traffic-only street line exclusively with clubs, pubs & bars and related establishments. My preference is Club V, but perhaps that's because it's where most of the fraternity's parties are hosted, and as a fellow Greek life member, I get invited a lot!
