I'm new to this as well and just found this thread. I feel the exact same way. He lives far away and barely texts me anymore, when it was constant in a few months ago. He does ask for my send pics if myself very frequently. I'm not sure what that means but it's the only communication I have right now. I'm hoping he comes back soon I'm always on the verge of tears because I miss him so much. I know what I read about the reasons for his actions but emotionally, I just don't get it. I'm giving him space and mostly only answering his texts.
