I have now completed and finalised the installation and setup of a forum game, called Stock Trader. It is the first of a possible succession of games to be introduced for members to utilise in a social capacity. It uses virtual currency, not real money. Members can buy virtual currency via the donation system, though that is explained in the stock trader forum how to thread.
The game has its own forum for all discussion, questions, help, strategies and so forth.
It is a game, nothing more, nothing less. The uniqueness though is that it uses actual real-time stock exchange data, in other words, you can buy, watch a companies value rise, then sell your stock. Again, this is real-time stock trading, as a game.
Oh... I should add that you are literally virtual gambling with your trophy points. Work that one out in your head!
