Hi. I work in a school setting. I read Anthony's great article yesterday about not being isolated. So I decided not to isolate myself, and I went and talked to my colleagues for a bit. The colleague whose desk is next to mine developed the stomach flu last night and isn't in school today.
Plus yesterday, my principal's email mentioned that "teachers have been coming down with the bug".
AGGGGGH!!!!!! Now my anxiety is in high gear. I know that the "bug" isn't the end of the world, but the FEAR of getting sick is driving me to an OCD nuthouse.
Help me put it in perspective.
I know, I know... if I get sick, I get sick. It's a 24-hour bug. I can handle it. But my mind is roiling.
