I am not aware of any pill mills shut down where I live, but in other parts of the state for sure.
I live in a safe city and have seen a gal robbed in traffic after picking up her suboxin or subtext (not sure which) but she said she just filled prescription from clinic. These clinics are popping up everywhere. Im not convinced its a good solution either.

I have somewhat of an addictive personality (smoking cigarettes) and know it. For some reason, pain pills have never done anything to tempt me. I have never taken other than orally, and always less than prescribed, but I have somewhat fear of effects of meds, and like having control of myself. I go for periods without taking them and suffer with the pain. I have gone years when I got pain under control. However, xanax is the med I have gotten dependent on. I have not become addicted I guess since I have quit cold turkey without complications. I wish there was a non addictive med to help with anxiety, panic, and sleep.

I know that this may sound odd, but, I had never even considered my condition to be PTSD. The idea never occurred to me. If you had asked me what it was, I probably would have looked it up.
But, the relief of having any diagnosis was wonderful. I was just happy to have a name for my condition. And, yes, it was a doctor at the hospital that diagnosed me. Until I did some researth, I didn't even know that there is criteria needed to officially diagnosis it.
