Hi everyone
Well we continue to have ups and downs of course. Hubby started CBT with the national health psychology team and after the first session he could smell the smells of the accident, feel being kicked and it brought it all back extremely vividly.
He has been down ever since really and I have noticed him being aggressive – not physically but verbally to our son and me.
The purpose of this note is to tell you that we seem to be getting some good support on the NHS….
Let’s keep positive that it will help.
Have a super weekend.

- Once a week hubby is now seeing a counselor – ongoing as long as he needs it.
- Once a month or so he is seeing the psychiatrist
- Once every 2 weeks seeing a guidance expert/ social worker (this we are not sure how long for)
- I also have a person I can see for about 6 sessions as I need it as a ‘carer’.
- I am attending a 6 week ‘educational’ course (1 evening a week) to help you understand stress/ CBT.
- I am also seeing a counselor – 6 sessions about every 3 weeks.
Let’s keep positive that it will help.
Have a super weekend.
