Supporting medicines

What do you do to support the medicine you’re taking?

Example. I take daily anxiety medicine so I also do deep breathing exercise regularly and make sure I take it early in the morning etc.

I have no way to get more meds that will help right now and I’m suffering so looking for ideas to feel better I guess ? Hope this makes sense I’ve been crying for hours

I don't take specific PTSD meds BUT things I do to support myself?

1. Get present. Be present. Sounds stupidly simple but.... Make a tea, smells of your present like cooking, or cookies, or laundry. Maybe hold a thing - like a toy or a book. Make a list of things to do, simple easy 2 minute things - because that gets you doing things and thinking about your list and whats next.

That's it. When I am here and now, that's the biggest thing I can do, think about here, now, Be here now.

Do you have routines around moving your body? This is where I notice a big difference in what I call my crying states - mine can go on for months with little relief and are brought on if I am moving. My trauma response is generally freeze, so if I am able to keep with a movement routine (which can be almost painful), I find that helps me pull out of my crying states.
